Opening of the Memorial exhibition Heldenplatz

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation from National Socialism, the Mauthausen Committee Austria, together with its partner organizations, the GEDENKDIENST Association, the Documentation Archive of Austrian Resistance, the Initiative Jetzt Zeichen Setzen and the Jewish Community Vienna, invited to the opening of the commemorative campaign “80 Years of Liberation from National Socialism - For a Never Again and Peace in Europe” at Heldenplatz in Vienna.

From May 5 to 9, 2025, a symbolic exhibition with life-size portraits and quotes from concentration camp survivors as well as excerpts from the Mauthausen Oath in various languages will be on display at Heldenplatz.
